2016 September 7, ANADEC did demonstration on a mock-up environment of the use of force feedback robot arm
From September 5th to September 7th, at the JAEA Naraha remote Technology Development Center, the company AREVA TEMIS Inc. came in Japan and conducted, in collaboration with our company, several demonstrations of valve opening and closing operations in a mock-up environment, using their company’s force feedback robot arm. These tests were done in presence of TEPCO, IRID, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hitachi GE, and Toshiba, who could witness its performance. In the future, we believe that force feedback robot arm technology can be applied to the delicate operations in high dose environment.
